Future opportunities
This position has the potential to grow as Fawn’s business grows.
Not required, but ideaL
You are interested in graphic design: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (because this is what Fawn uses); experience in Canva is OK, too.
You have education experience and would enjoy assisting with class preparation or syllabus/curriculum creation.
You’re skilled in branding and marketing and are interested in taking on larger decision-making in that area.
You have an awesome understanding of ecommerce and small business marketing.
You are interested in the connection between art, ritual, and commerce/sustenance.
This position would not be a good fit for you if
You are stronger in coming up with ideas, creating and relating than you are in execution and mastering the details (this is an admin position).
You have ongoing life circumstances that make you unable to complete tasks on time.
You struggle with learning new technology and systems.
Rather than being proactive in communicating, you hide out when struggling with a task or if you are unable to complete a deadline.
Position details
This is not an employee position, it is an hourly contract position (no benefits). You will be issued a 1099 at the end of the year and will be responsible for your own reporting/taxes.
Work will begin with a one month test period to make sure we are a good match, at which point we will sign a contract for ongoing hourly support if we mutually agree.
If we sign an ongoing contract after the test period, either you or Fawn can give two weeks’ notice to cancel, although one month’s notice is preferred in both directions.
Note: This is an ongoing position and the ideal candidate will be interested in this position for the long term.
How to apply
Please send an email to fawn@elkrockyoga.com with “Application” in the subject line. Tell me about your strengths and interests in the position, any questions, any other relevant information, and attach a resume. If we advance to the next round I will request phone calls with two references.
